BFE relay race

Are there any willing Kiwanians to join me in the 1st BFE relay race. It is a 60 mile race for teams of 5-7 people. The legs of the relay range from 3-5 miles. The course is through Adams County ending up in downtown Hastings. It looks to be a good time. The race is a fund raiser ($275 per team) for The Special Children's Fund and Girls on the Run. Both are fabulous orgainzations. So, if you want to jaunt around Adams Co - let me know. We also will need a driver to tote us around the course.

Fairfest Parade pictures!

Sorry for the delay in posting these! It is now August 2 – but the parade was July 17. I'm not exactly sure what happened those days (weeks!) in between. Life, I suppose, just happens!

In either case, it was a beautiful day for a parade, and as you can see the Kiwanis entry looked great!

In retrospect, I should have taken a photo of Tom G, who was a Fair judge for the day. (Sorry Tom!)
